PARTNER TERMS.

Last updated: September 2026. By applying to become a Partner, you agree to the following terms.

1. Eligibility & Approval

Partner status is granted at the sole discretion of urmanual. We may approve, reject, or revoke Partner status at any time without prior notice.

You must be at least 18 years old to apply. By submitting an application, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Approval does not guarantee future access — we reserve the right to suspend or terminate Partner privileges if these terms are violated.

2. Revenue Split & Fees

urmanual charges a 20% platform fee on every transaction. You receive the remaining 80%.

Stripe payment processing fees are included within the platform fee — there are no additional hidden charges deducted from your earnings.

All prices are set by you and displayed in USD. You are responsible for setting fair and accurate pricing for your content.

urmanual reserves the right to adjust the platform fee with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new fee structure.

3. Payments & Payouts

All payments are processed through Stripe Connect. You must create and maintain a Stripe account in good standing to receive payouts.

urmanual does not store, access, or handle your bank details, card numbers, or any personal financial information. All financial data is managed exclusively by Stripe.

Payouts are deposited directly into your bank account by Stripe according to the payout schedule you configure in your Stripe dashboard.

urmanual is not responsible for delays, holds, or issues caused by Stripe, your bank, or third-party payment processors.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all content you create and upload to urmanual. By publishing content, you grant urmanual a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote it within the platform (e.g. discovery pages, search results, category listings, and in-app recommendations).

This licence does not permit urmanual to use your photos, likeness, or content in external advertising, social media campaigns, or marketing materials without your prior written approval.

This licence continues for content that has been purchased by your audience — even after termination, buyers retain access to content they have paid for.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that it does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

urmanual does not review or endorse Partner content. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and the prices you set.

urmanual may remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice.

5. Prohibited Activities

As a Partner, you must not:

— Upload content that is illegal, contains explicit or adult material, promotes violence, hate speech, harassment, or discrimination.

— Create fake accounts, use bots, or artificially inflate views, sales, or engagement metrics.

— Purchase your own content or arrange for others to do so to generate fraudulent earnings.

— Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or the nature of your content.

— Attempt to circumvent the platform fee or redirect buyers to external payment methods.

— Use the platform to promote scams, phishing, or any form of deception.

Violation of any of the above will result in immediate suspension or permanent revocation of your Partner status, and may result in forfeiture of pending earnings.

6. Audience Purchases & Refunds

When someone purchases your content, they receive immediate digital access. All sales are final unless a refund is issued due to a payment dispute or technical error.

In the event of a chargeback or dispute initiated by the buyer, the transaction amount (including your 80% share) may be reversed from your earnings. Stripe handles all dispute resolution.

Repeated chargebacks or disputes may result in suspension of your Partner status.

You are not permitted to offer refunds directly to buyers outside the platform. All refund requests must go through urmanual or Stripe.

7. Tax Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling your tax obligations arising from earnings on urmanual, including income tax, sales tax, VAT, or any other applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

urmanual does not provide tax advice and does not withhold taxes on your behalf. Stripe may issue tax documents (such as 1099 forms in the US) based on your earnings — consult a tax professional for guidance.

8. Data & Privacy

urmanual collects the following data as part of your Partner account: profile information, content you upload, transaction records, and the social media link you provide during application.

Your social media link is used solely for identity verification during the application review and is visible only to urmanual administrators. It is never displayed publicly.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Analytics data (views, sales counts) is available to you through your dashboard.

Audience payment details are processed and stored exclusively by Stripe. urmanual never has access to their card numbers, bank information, or your personal financial details.

For full details on data collection, usage, and your rights (including GDPR), refer to the Privacy Policy in the Info section of your dashboard.

9. Stripe Terms

By becoming a Partner, you agree to create a Stripe Connect account and comply with Stripe's own Terms of Service and Connected Account Agreement.

Stripe may independently verify your identity, require additional documentation, or impose holds or restrictions on your account. urmanual has no control over Stripe's verification or payout processes.

If your Stripe account is suspended or terminated by Stripe, your ability to receive payouts through urmanual will also be affected.

10. Termination

You may stop being a Partner at any time by contacting support@urmanual.com. Existing paid content will remain accessible to your audience who have already purchased it.

urmanual may suspend or revoke your Partner status at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct that harms the platform or its users.

Upon termination, pending payouts will still be processed through Stripe according to their standard schedule, provided no disputes are outstanding.

If Partner status is revoked due to a terms violation, urmanual reserves the right to withhold pending earnings if there is reasonable suspicion of fraud.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless urmanual, its team, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: your content, your breach of these terms, your violation of any third party's rights, or any dispute between you and a buyer.

12. Limitation of Liability

urmanual provides the platform "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific earnings, or sales volumes.

urmanual is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Partner programme, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability to you is limited to the platform fees collected from your transactions in the 12 months preceding any claim.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Partner programme shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

Before initiating any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation via email for a minimum of 30 days.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.

Continued use of the Partner programme after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Partner features before the effective date.
